My 5 favorite at home workouts
When I don’t have time to go to the gym and I really want a good workout, I usually do an at home workout. This could be a pilates workout or an intense core session via Youtube. Today I want to share with you my 5 favourite ways to work out at home.
I love using this Youtube channel for an intense, but really short workout. Usually her videos are about 10 to 15 minutes, but they are really intense workouts. She does everything from stretching workouts, core, legs etc. You name it and she has a workout!
2. Sweaty Betty Ballet enCore workouts
Sweaty Betty is a sport clothing brand that has their own youtube channel. One of the playlists is provided full of free workouts which are amazing! I especially love the ballet enCore workouts, because I’m a gymnast. These workouts are really good for your stamina, balance and coordination!
I love this channel for a good pilates workout. The instructors on the videos explain the exercises really well and give options to make the exercises harder or easier. They have workouts specific for a certain area of your body or just a full body workout!
I’m not really into Yoga, but if you are the Rituals app is a great way to do a Yoga session. You can set the time of the workout from 5 to 20 minutes and the type of Yoga you want to do. I really want to try this out, but I haven’t had the time yet to do so!
As wel as a body workout your mind sometimes need a ‘workout’ too! The Rituals app is a great way to do guided meditations too. It works the same way as the Yoga sessions, where you can set the time of the session yourself and the type of meditation you want to do. I always do my meditation with an English narrator, because I prefer the voice of this narrator to the Dutch one.
