Since I wanted to do something different than all the other YouTube made me buy it posts, I thought about doing a Christmas-themed one. So… this is the YouTube that made me buy it: Christmas Edition! The advent calendars are a must around Christmas.
While chocolate advent calendars are around for a long time, in the last few years the trend of other advent calendars is coming around the corner in The Netherlands. These calendars are available in all kinds of budgets, shapes, and sizes. Beauty, skincare, brand-specific calendars, jewelry you name it, and it’s there. Because it is fairly new here I chose to buy two advent calendars to try out and let you know what I think about them. Tanya Burr advent calendar
The first one is the 12 days of Christmas beauty calendar made by Tanya Burr. She is a wonderful YouTuber from the UK. Not only does she have a YouTube channel, but she also has her own makeup line. This calendar is full of her make-up products. And… they are all limited edition! Behind each door, you will find a beautifully made product of good quality. There is a product for every girl or woman to create beautiful make-up looks. This calendar is great value for money, because all the products generously sized. The nail polishes are even full size! With this calendar you can create the most festive make-up looks all 12 days before Christmas.

H&m advent calendar
The second one is the H&M advent calendar. This calendar has 24 doors to open, which means the Christmas vibes are already starting the first of December. Although there are quite a lot of festive-themed items in this calendar, there are also pieces you can wear all year round. It has a variety of basic and dressed-up earrings, rings, necklaces, and more. On Christmas day you basically have a whole jewelry box full of new pieces.
