October exciting new discoveries
This year is going so fast it’s already the beginning of November, which means time for my October exciting new discoveries! Did you also discover some great products? Let me know in the comments below, because I’m always on the hunt to try new products!
Whenever Autumn comes around the corner I start using more berry and darker coloured lipsticks. This month I actually rediscovered my Kiko Gossamer Emotion Creamy Lipstick in the shade 109 Amaranth . I’ve bought this a while ago, but didn’t wear it too often. Until Autumn started and I transitioned into the darker lipsticks. The formula of these lipsticks is very creamy and like the name suggest they give a velvet finish. I wouldn’t consider them completely matte, because of the creamy formula and the finish it has.
Haircare & Skincare
Last week I went to the hairdresser and decided to go quite a lot shorter. Ever since I had it cut I really like to wear my hair down. Whenever it’s really long I don’t like to do this, because it just gets in the way of everything. So I started exploring my haircare products again and found some I didn’t really try. The Andrelon Go For Texture Definition Spray is amazing to give your roots some extra volume. The other product I’m really happy I discovered is the Boots Botanics Smoothing Shine Serum. This product is amazing! I use it either on towel dry hair as a nourishing serum or after styling my hair as a kind of finishing serum. It’s such a lightweight serum and your hair looks amazing!
My skincare discoveries this months are an eye cream and my favourite moisturising sheet mask. The sheet mask discovery is really hyped up in the blogging and youtube world, but I have to say it’s definitely true! The Garnier Hydra Bomb Hydrating Tissue Mask is such an amazing sheet mask. It really hydrates the skin like the name suggests and it’s really affordable for how good it works! My second discovery is the Boots Botanicals Radiant Youth Hydrating Eye Cream. This is such a light, but very moisturising eye cream. Sometimes my under eye area is very dry, but when I use this eye cream my concealer applies really smooth and doesn’t crack during the day.
My last exciting new discovery of this month is the Dr. Spiller Magico hand creme*. I already received this quite a while ago, but I only use hand creme during the colder months. This hand creme is amazing and it doesn’t leave your hands feeling sticky after applying. It sinks into your skin very quickly, but still hydrates your skin for quite a while. This hand creme is definitely a saviour for my hands during the colder months!
I hope you enjoyed reading about this months new discoveries!
