Time for another monthly exiting new discoveries. This time featuring the products I discovered during April. Enjoy reading!
Makeup discoveries
Let’s talk makeup first. I didn’t discovered a whole lot during his month though I went to the Beauty Trade Special in Utrecht with Emani Cosmetics. I’ll have a vlog waiting for you either this Friday or the next one. Emani just released a couple of new blushes and I completely fell in love with the mosaic pressed blush in the shade Key Largo*. It’s a slightly darker shade compared to what I usually go for in a pink toned blush, but it’s absolutely stunning.
Skincare discoveries
You probably also guessed by the picture at the beginning of this post that I discovered a lot of skincare products. I have to say that my skin is quite bad at the moment, so I’m trying out different things to make it more manageable. First of which is a new manual face scrub, the Vine Powder* from Sens en Provence. Sens en Provence is a fairly new skincare brand based on olives and olive tree products. I never thought that I would love a manual face scrub again when my acne is quite bad, but this one doesn’t irritate my skin and doesn’t break me out!
I’ve also discovered some anti inflammatory products from Dr. Spiller, which are the Collagen Aqua Plus serum and the Azulen creme. They both have a blue color and both reduce inflammation on the face. I love to use the serum in the morning after my toner and before my moisturizer, which I also discovered a new one I’ll discuss in a minute. And I use the azulen creme as my night cream. I really love them both and would definitely recommend them if you’re suffering from inflammation on your skin too.
I just mentioned a new morning moisturizer discovery, which is the L’Oréal Revitalift Cicacreme. I discovered this moisturizer in the beauty box by Ruth from A model recommends. Although I haven’t finished the tube yet I’ve already repurchased it. It’s quite a thick cream, which doesn’t clog up my pores. I also think that it sits really well underneath my makeup.
And last but not least a favourite treatment I use once a week, which is the Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2% from The Ordinary. This really resurfaces my skin overnight and I find it’s not as harsh as a retinol. Though it does sting a bit when you apply it, it really does wonders for my skin. I only use this once a week, because it’s quite a heavy treatment for my skin.
Do you have products you’re exited about and discovered during April? Let me know in the comments below and I’d also love to know if you’ve tried any of these products too!

The olive (tree) based face scrub sounds very good, might give it a try!:)

Yes it’s so good and although it doesn’t look very gentle it definitely is!
