After writing a post about my favourite festive lipsticks I thought let’s do one about my favourite festive nail polishes. Of course it needs to be a red with glitter. I feel like Christmas is the moment to use glitter on your face and on your nails. You don’t have to use the same colour nail polishes as I did. If you want to I’ll link similar polishes below, because I’ve used polishes that are quite old or not available anymore. Sorry for that in advance! Red base color
The first polish I use, after my base coat, is the L’oreal Color Riche Nail Polish in the shade 401 Rouge Pin. A similar polish to this one would be the L’oreal Color Riche 552 in the shade Rubis Folies. I really love this color, because a red always reminds me of the festive season. I do about 2 coats of this nail polish on each nail to make it extra opaque.
All the glitter
The second polish that I use kind of like a top coat is the Tanya Burr Cosmetics nail polish in the shade Glitter and Gold. I got this polish in her advent calendar last year, so I think it’s a limited edition nail polish. This year she did a gold nail polish in her advent calendar again. Though, I don’t think it’s the same as last year. If you want a similar glitter polish I think Rock At The Top from Essie is a good alternative.
