So I think this is the first dedicated fashion talk post on my blog since quite a long time. I actually love to talk about fashion, but I find myself not writing about it often. During the end of last year I did make my first ever look book video, which you can watch right here. As I already told you in my Early Black Friday Deals post I bought my first ever pair of Ted Baker boots. The boots I bought you’ve probably already seen when opening this post, but they are the Ted Baker Qatena boots.
Why did I buy them ?
I bought this specific pair of boots, because I pair in a different color than black. Funny story; originally I was going to buy them in black, but my size was sold out in black. That’s when I decided to buy the grey or Charcoal ones. I also really love the rose gold metal details on the tip of the nose, on the bow and the little rose gold bow on the back of the shoe. Besides the stunning rose gold details the signature piece on all Ted Baker clothes and accessories is the bow. And I absolutely love this bow detail on the Qatena boots.

How do they walk and wear ?
Although the heel is about 10 cm high, they are very comfy in my opinion. Besides that they wear very well in the sense that the suede doesn’t show lots of scratches. They only thing that wears very quickly is the rose gold metal piece on the tip of the nose. You only have to hit the pavement or a little stone and there are already some scratches on the metal.

How do I style them?
I love to style them with jeans and a nice blouse, this way it’s a more casual outfit. For workwear I like to style these boots with my burgundy skirt and a black or white blouse. Of course a nice long black coat like this Mango one and a bag tie the whole look together. If you can spot a bit of sun a nice black pair of sunglasses will also make a great accessory to tie this look together.
How do you like to style your favourite pair of boots? Leave your way of styling your boots in the comments below! I’d love some more inspiration to style outfits!
