Summer and winter it doesn’t matter for my lips they always get very dry and flaky. If you have the same problem you’re going to really like this post about my favourite lip balms. Recently I kind of accidentally discovered a couple of lip balms that amazed me. And I would really like to share this with you! They are all favourites for different reasons, so I’m going to discuss them in no particular order.
First up is The Body Shop Shea lip butter. This lip butter has a light weight texture and sinks into your lips very quickly. For me this is the perfect lip butter during day time, because it is not sticky and gives the lips a nice shine.
Second is the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream. Technically this is not a lip balm, but it works very well on the lips. This cream has a thick consistency and doesn’t sink into the lips quickly, which is why this is a perfect night time lip product for me. When I wake up my lips veel very soft and less flaky.
The last one is the Nuxe reve de miel, which for me is the best allrounder. Other than most lip balms this one looks mat on the lips. The consistency when you apply it to your lips feels very thick, but when you wear it you don’t notice it. This lip balm stays on your lips forever and combined with the light texture, this makes it perfect for day and night.

I’ve read only great reviews about the Elisabeth Arden 8 hour cream even as lip balm… I really think I’m going to buy it one day 😉 The Nuxe one sounds nice for the mat finish, despite I prefer lip balm with stick packaging…
