Finding the work-life-blog balance

Finding the work-life-blog balance

I think this is maybe the second or third post I write about finding the balance in life. Or maybe even more.. I lost count I think. Finding balance is a huge part in my life, because it allows me to get rid of stress and other things that might bother you inside your head. Whenever a situation in your life changes you need to find that balance again. For me this just happened, because as you might know I graduated and now work 40 hours a week. This is a big change in my life and finding the balance to still work on my blog and having a social life is hard in the beginning. I have a few things that I run into blogging wise, so I’m wondering if I could maybe get some advice or experiences from others.

What I run into

First of I was wondering how other bloggers manage their normal amount of content when working 40 hours a week on top of that. Did you make any changes in your upload schedule when you started working?

Besides that I’m wondering how other bloggers balance working, social life and blogging? Did you started to plan your content more in advance?

What I’ve already done

I’ve already decided that the Friday uploads on yYoutube are going ‘on hold’. Though I have some fun videos in mind, which are mostly vlogs though. I’m going to focus more on the quality of my blog and instagram content, rather than trying to keep my ‘normal’ schedule and doing everything not on full capacity.

I really think after I’m used to the 40 hour work week and get into a routine (hmm…. routines, that’s also a popular topic in my blogpost archive) I’ll pick up my normal schedule again. Though, for now I think it’s a wise decision to do it like this. Do you have any tips or experiences you want to share with me. Please leave them in the comments down below and let’s help each other!

I work full time and struggle with this. I admire bloggers who still manage a regular schedule. I used to try and get a few posts written at the weekend that just need tweaking before they get published during the week, but with family and social life, I have struggled to do that recently too. I think I have come to the conclusion that I will just post when I can, I would rather do that than rush and put rubbish content that I am not happy with on my blog. Good luck with sorting yours.

Thank you so much! I think that’s the best thing to do, because the most important thing is that you keep loving what you’re doing. I admire that you can combine a family, social life, full time job and a blogpost now and than! Keep up the good work and thank you so much! I’ll do my best to sort out my perfect balance 🙂
