Does it seem like January flew by to you too? I feel like I blinked my eyes and it’s already the beginning of February. Although, this month I’ve also some exciting new discoveries to share with you. I didn’t discover a whole lot of different products this month, but I did discovered some beauty staples. If you want to know what I discovered, please keep on reading.
Skincare and makeup
This month I finally discovered a new concealer. I’ve used the Emani HD concealer so much and don’t get me wrong I still love that one. Though, for you it’s nice to see some other products in my posts and videos too! This month I discovered the Boujoir Radiance Reveal concealer. This concealer is not new at all, but it’s new to me! I love this concealer, because it has both concealer and highlighter properties. It has a good medium coverage and illuminates the under eyes. And for me the most important part is it doesn’t look dry under my eyes.
The second product I discovered this month is actually a sample of the Clarins Blue Orchid Face Treatment Oil. I got this sample after hearing Suzie from Hello October talk about this oil. After I finish this sample I’ll definitely purchase the full size bottle. It’s specially made for dehydrated skin, which mine definitely is. Suzie said in one of her videos that this oil hydrates your skin so much and really helps with the healing of scaring. I recently had some bad skin days and this oil definitely helped heal the scares quicker. It’s also very comfortable on the skin and nevertheless it smells amazing!
The final beauty discovery of this month is a lipstick. I finally bit the bullet and bought the L’oreal x Balmain collaboration lipstick in the shade Confession. As you can see in the swatch below it’s a very nice coral pink color with some browny nude undertones. I really love this lipstick, because I still consider it a nude lipstick just slightly bolder. Just like all other L’oreal lipsticks it’s very comfortable to wear on the lips.
Hair care
Another recommendation from a fellow blogger/youtuber is the Philip Kingsley Flaky/Itchy scalp shampoo. I had never heard of this brand before, until Lily Pebbles recommended this in one of her favourite videos. This might be TMI for some of you, but I have suffered my whole life from dry skin all over my body. So no exception for my scalp! I always treated the symptoms (flakiness) with anti-dandruff shampoo, which made my scalp even drier and eventually more flaky. Lily recommended this brand, because it’s especially suited for the flaky/itchy scalp symptoms and suited for collared hair. And I have to thank Lily for recommending this on her channel, because it definitely changed my life! I know it’s cheesy to say, but this is definitely a staple in my hair care from now on.
I really hope you liked reading about my exciting new discoveries of the month January and I love to read about yours too! Leave them in the comments below and tell everyone (and me!) about your discoveries! And you might see them pop up in a future exciting new discoveries post!

Great new discoveries that you found 🙂 I really must try the Boujoir’s concealer as I have heard so many good things about it but haven’t got around to trying it, do you find it lasts well throughout the day? The lip colour is very lovely too. Take care, Chantelle from Chansbeautycorner x
