Curious to find out all about my vegan hand care routine? Taking care of your hands is one of the most important things in my opinion since they have to endure so much every day. Right now we use so much hand sanitizer to keep our hands clean and disinfected. Therefore our hands might even need more care than they already do. So today I thought I’d share my 3-step hand care routine with you, with the products from Mylene.
Why establish a hand care routine?
It’s super important to nourish our hands and take the time to take care of them. This three-step hand care routine or hand care kit if you will, is from the brand Mylene. They sell all kinds of products ranging from makeup to skincare and from interior perfume to cleaning products. All their products are completely cruelty-free and contain beautiful ingredients. Their hand care routine or hand care range is one of their newer product lines. So let’s dive into the products.
3 step vegan hand care routine
Mylene Hand Mousse Cleanser
The first product in this routine is the Mylene Hand Mousse* Cleanser. Both the packaging and the consistency really remind me of a face cleanser. It’s designed to both clean and nourish the hands. The scent is absolutely amazing and smells like pear, coconut, and raspberry.
Vegan Hand Cream
The second step in this vegan hand care routine is the Mylene hand cream*. This is a beautiful, rich, and nourishing hand cream yet very light inconsistency. One of the most important things for me when I test out new hand products is how quickly they sink into the skin. I really don’t like to walk around with sticky hands for another hour or two. This cream really quickly disappeared into my skin yet it left my skin very moisturizing. One of the very cool things about this cream is that it has UV protection, which you don’t see in hand creams very often. Therefore this cream also has anti-aging properties.
Hand Protective Shield
The final product in this 3 step hand care routine is the Hand protective shield*. This is another very interesting product and you could imagine is like an invisible glove around your hands. The product itself makes it harder for bacteria for example to stick to your hands. I was a bit worried – again sticky hands – that two layers of hand creme products on top of each other, would result in sticky hands. Honestly, I was very surprised, because also this product disappeared into the skin fairly quickly. Even though my hands stayed nicely moisturized and protected. Also Skin academy Zero also has a vegan hand creme, which is part of their vegan skin and hand care line!
