New Australian Gold Tinted SPF 50 Face Cream

Australian Gold, SPF 50, tinted lotion, face

Since a couple of years I’ve been religiously using an SPF on my face every day. It doesn’t matter if it’s summer or winter I use an SPF every day. In the summer this means that I use a lot of layers on my face: SPF, primer, foundation, etc. So since about a year or two I noticed that brands were combining these products to make it more convenient. I know there are also bb creams or foundations with SPF, but today I’m specifically talking about tinted SPFs.

Australian Gold is a sunscreen brand that I didn’t know before I started trying their Botanical SPF50 Tinted Face Lotion*. They have a botanical line with sunscreen, aftersun, and tinted SPF that are based on natural products. This tanned SPF caught my eye because it’s marketed as being non-sticky, non-greasy, and sweatproof. This lotion also contains SPF 50* and it’s made for your face. I’ve tried comparable lotions in the past and I always found them too greasy for my skin. So when I saw this product I was very excited to try it out!

As you can see in the picture the tint is very light and is more a skin enhancer than actual coverage. Although I used this SPF with the correcting powder from Avene and my skin looked flawless afterwards. The tint in this lotion is very flattering for the skin and I think that this is a great product to use during the summer. You could also mix this one with your foundation if you want to have a little bit more coverage.

The creme itself is as they say in the product description: non greasy and non sticky. It’s also very correcting and flattering for your skin. So overall a really good product and I can’t wait to try out more products from Australian Gold!
