Review | Maybelline Total Temptation Mascara

Finally the Total Temptation Mascara from Maybelline has launched in The Netherlands. It has been a hype in the blogging and youtube world ever since it launched. So it’s time for me to put it through the test and review it for you. If you want to know what I think of it, how it performs and if it does what it claims to do? Keep on reading!

What does it claim to do?

This mascara as the name suggest claims to give your lashes volume to create irresistible lashes. It separates the lashes while giving the lashes buildable volume. One of the ingredients in this mascara is coconut extract, which gives this product a slight coconut scent. It also has a whipped and light formula, so it doesn’t weight down your lashes.

What do I think?

As you can see in the picture above the brush looks very clumpy at first. I was kind of hesitant that this mascara would both separate and volumize my lashes. Though, I was wrong this mascara definitely does both. It definitely creates a lot of volume as you can see in the picture below! And this was just one coat! It’s also not too clumpy in my opinion and it doesn’t make your lashes look like burned twigs. I love the brush of this mascara too! There’s not too much product on the brush and you can coat every single lash without smudging mascara all over your face.

So my first impressions are very positive and I’ll let you know about the longevity in the comments below! I need to test this mascara more to give my opinion about that too. I hope you liked reading my first impressions and let me know what you think of the new Maybelline mascara!
