So I finally got hold of the Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer. I know that it’s not a new product at all, but for me it’s new. This product is part of a UK haul, which will be on my youtube channel this Friday. I took a little bit of a break from blogging and youtube (only a week though..), because I started my first adult job the 2nd of July. I noticed that I was quite tired after work, which is why I took a little break from blogging.
Although we have Revolution (it used to be Makeup Revolution) in Holland, this concealer hasn’t arrived yet. I’ve been looking for this one for quite a while now, but it seem to have never reached the shelves of our drugstores. Revolution is known for very good quality products, while being very affordable. Therefore, I was very interested in this concealer.
This product claims to be a light weight yet full coverage concealer. It claims to have a matte finish and doesn’t settle into fine lines. I have the shade C2 which is perfectly fine to both cover and highlight parts of my face. I find that this concealer does exactly what it claims! It doesn’t crease underneath my eyes, which is very rare for me. It also doesn’t look dry and it does a really good job concealing my under eye area. I know that this concealer is also compared a lot with the Tarte Shape Tape. Though we don’t have Tarte here in Holland, so I can’t tell you if that’s true.
I think this is a really good and affordable concealer. In a couple of weeks I have a wedding to attend and this is definitely a concealer I would consider wearing during that day! Which is quite a big deal for me, since I really want to make sure that my makeup looks good all day and stays in place.
