September exciting new discoveries

discoveries, september, new

I know I also said this in last months exiting new discoveries post, but the months are flying by. I don’t even feel September has even started yet and it’s already the end of the month. Though, on a positive note this also means Autumn has started! Which means it’s time for cosy jumpers, hot chocolate and scarves! This month I’ve found some amazing discoveries I really want to share with you. They are mainly skincare favourites, which are the products that change the most when seasons start changing.

skincare and beauty

dr spiller, mask, peeling

I recently started trying a lot of the Dr. Spiller skincare line and there were a couple of favourites already in my August new discoveries post. These two are in my opinion perfect for Autumn and Winter. The first new discovery is the Dr. Spiller Cellular Creme Mask*, which is a rich overnight mask. This really hydrates your skin through the night and whenever I use it  I wake up with really soft and nourished skin. Another plus is it doesn’t make you stick to your cushion!

Another product I really enjoy using is the Dr. Spiller Jojoba Peeling Creme*, which is actually really surprising that I love this product. My skin usually doesn’t agree with manual scrubs, because it’s way to harsh for my skin and tends to irritate it. This product has really tiny scrub particles and has a buttery like consistency. When you use the scrub the particles dissolve while you use it, which leaves your skin feeling soft and nourished at the same time.

Burberry, Parfum

A parfum that I’ve actually rediscovered (yeah sorry cheating a little here) is Body from Burberry. I really love this scent for the Autumn and Winter months. It is quite a floral scent mixed with some subtile notes of wood and vanille, which for me makes it a perfect scent for the colder months.

The last beauty discovery of this month is the Sun Project Water Sun Cream with SPF 50+ from Thank You Farmer. Unfortunately this brand isn’t available in The Netherlands, but Cult Beauty offer some great shipping options. The texture of this SPF is a mixture of cream and gel. It feels light on the skin and absorbs almost immediately after I applied it. I also love this underneath my makeup and most important it doesn’t break me out!

rituals, holy basil, candle, scent

My last discovery of this month is home ware related and with Autumn already started I couldn’t leave this candle out. I actually got it for my birthday back in May, but had to wait until my other candles were completely burned. This is a Rituals scented candle in Holy Basil, which has the most wonderful fresh and basil like scent. It’s a great candle to light in the ‘back ground’, because the scent isn’t too overwhelming. And of course the packaging is very simple which makes it stunning!

I would love to hear about your recent discoveries during the month of October in the comments below! I hope you enjoyed reading this post and I’m going to start discovering some new products for next months post!
