The new Eye Catching collection from Bourjois

A couple of weeks ago I entered a Bourjois giveaway via their instagram account. To my surprise I got a message a couple of weeks later saying that I won the give-away! I say to my surprise, because I know lots of people enter these type of give-away. So I never put my hopes up too high when I enter them. There’s always a chance of winning the give-away and this time I won! So Bourjois sent me their Eye Catching collection including their new mascara and liquid eyeliner.

Eye Catching Liquid Liner

I first tried the new Eye Catching Liquid Eyeliner, which makes sense to do this before trying out the mascara. In the picture below you can see that this liner has a felt tip with a permanent marker kind of shape. The Bourjois website claims that it the new felt tip makes it very easy to apply your Cat-Eye eyeliner.
My first impressions: First I have to admit that I’m really not the best when applying liquid liner! This one however made it very easy! I don’t think the felt tip is everyones cup of tea, but for me as an inexperienced used it made applying liner very easy! The formula is very easy and doesn’t drag on your eyelid. However it’s not the darkest black I’ve ever seen. For me this isn’t a problem, but I know that some of you like a very dark black eyeliner.

Eye Catching Mascara

So the new Eye Catching Mascara claims (according to their website) to give your lashes a Cat-Eye look and the thick brush makes your lashes curl even more. It also claims to not climb your lashes together.
My first impressions: As you can see in the close up picture below the brush has a bit of a weird shape, which took me a couple of tries to get used to. But it does give you really nice thick and lengthened lashes! I also didn’t have to apply a second layer of mascara. So overall I’m really excited to use this mascara and eyeliner more often!

Overall I really like these two products and I really want to try them more! After using this new liquid eyeliner I even consider doing some eyeliner in the morning before work. If you want to see me apply these products go to my youtube channel and watch my latest video!
