About 3 weeks ago I started with the new WW program from Weight Watchers. Not to lose weight, but just to maintain a healthy lifestyle and get bit of variety in the food choices I make. So as you might have notices WW completely rebranded. They not only changed the branding, but also the way the program is set up. In this post I’m going to tell you more about the program and how easy it is to start, the WW products and the WW workshops. The program is known worldwide, so it doesn’t matter where you live!
The WW program
Starting the program is very easy! You basically sign-up on their website and download the app. After you set up the app to your goals and preference, you are ready to start. Although you can search for recipes inside the app, I can imagine that planning out your weekly meal plan might be a bit difficult. That’s why WW also created an easy start menu, which includes 1 week of meals based on 24 smart points a day. And even better they also created a recipe book with a meal plans for the entire year*! So as I already mentioned in the beginning, starting the program is very easy!
The WW product
Beside rebranding the program and the brand, WW also brought out new and very delicious products. As you might have seen on my Instagram, their crisps are delicious and very low in smart points. Perfect if you want to treat yourself! And the best thing is that they also have products without lactose, which is perfect for people with a lactose intolerance. So far I’ve tried their crisps, cake in a cup and some other snacks*. I also can’t wait to try the Belgium waffels! Besides snacks and breakfast products there’s a wide variety of sauces, instant meals and protein product.
The WW workshops
If you chose to subscribe for a WW workshop + digital subscription you can attend the WW workshops. During these workshops you’ll get to know your coach and the other WW members. The workshop starts with weighing to track your weightless or to see if you stayed within the preferred weight. Don’t be afraid to go to your first workshop, because the support system you can experience during these workshops is amazing. Besides that you’ll learn so many new things during these sessions. Every sessions has it’s own theme, which will be explained during the session. For example during my first workshop the theme was carbs and I learned so many new things about carbs. Also talking to other WW members and sharing food hacks is very inspiring!
